DAY 1: From town of Zadar to village Preko on the island of Ugljan

Zadar is Croatian town situated at the very center of the Adriatic coast. It's the administrative center of Zadar County and one of the most economic developed Dalmatian towns and busiest sea port. Zadar has two marinas, marina Tankerkomerc Zadar and marina Borik. In the marinas, there are restaurants, café bars, shops, sanitary facilities and laundry services. If you still didn’t rent a motor boat, catamaran or sailboat for your sailing along the Croatian coast, you can take a look at our offer of boats for charter or visit our sites of Marina Zadar or marina Borik which contains all relevant informations about the marinas and boat offers in it. As you will sail out after 17:00 h local time, the first stop on your route we suggest place Preko on the island of Ugljan.

Preko is settlement on the eastern side of the island of Ugljan, 3 nm from the city of Zadar. It is traffic and administrative center of the island Ugljan with the old parts of typical Dalmatian architecture and numerous beaches such as the famous sandy beach Jaz. In the center of Preko is a marina with 85 berths. In Preko, there are several restaurants and taverns with traditional Dalmatian dishes and wines.

DAY 2: From village Preko - island Rivanj or island Sestrunj - island Molat

Rivanj is a small island located between island Sestrunj and island Ugljan, 12 nautical miles from the Preko. Rivanj is suitable for those who looks for complete peace, away from the crowds and bustle. The island has no shops, restaurants or cafes. It has ideal conditions for sailing, windsurfing and other water sports. After a break on this peaceful island, next stop is the nearby island Sestrunj.

Sestrunj is a small island located in the Zadar archipelago, between the islands of Molat, Rivanj, Tuna and Iž. Island Sestrunj with its 15 km2 and a rugged coastline with three deep bays, is a real oasis of peace and tranquility. On the Sestrunj there are two restaurants, taverns and shops. After swimming in the bays Hrvatin or Travnik, sail out to the island of Molat.

8 nm from the Sestrunj lies the island of Molat. Molat is an island in the northern part of Zadar archipelago, located between Vir Sea and the open waters of the Adriatic Sea on the northwest. Molat is the main settlement on the island, has two shops, a bakery and several restaurants. On the island there are several beautiful bays, the most famous are Lučina, Studena and Zapuntel where you can safely anchor.

DAY 3: From island Molat - beach Sakarun on the island of Dugi otok - Nature Park Telašćica

Sakarun is a long sandy beach, located on the northwest side of island of Dugi Otok, 8 nm from the island of Molat, near the village Veli Rat. Beach Sakarun is one of the most popular on the island rich in beautiful and hidden bays. On the beach there are two restaurants that offer summer refreshments and snacks. On this magical beach you can anchor on the set buoys. After the break on the beach Sakarun, make a trip to 25 nm away Nature Park Telašćica.

Telašćica bay, by which the whole nature park is named, is located on the southeastern part of the island of Dugi otok and is one of the safest, most beautiful and largest natural harbors in the Adriatic. Nature Park Telašćica features three basic phenomena: Telašćica bay, cliffs or so-called ‘stene’ of Dugi Otok which rise to 200 m above the sea, and a medicinal salt lake Mir. In the Telašćice there are several restaurants where you can enjoy in traditional local specialties. Anchoring and overnight stay on boats is allowed in bays in the park.

DAY 4: From Nature Park Telašćica - island Levrnaka or Vrulje bay on the island Kornat - island Lavsa - island Ravni Žakan

After a night in Telašćica, the route continues to the Kornati archipelago. Levrnaka is a small island in the Kornati archipelago, located 6 nm from Telašćica. On the southwest coast of the island is a beautiful sandy beach Lojena where tourists often come with boats on bathing. On the island of Levrnaka there are two small restaurants on the opposite coast of the island.

Vrulje is a village and bay on the eastern side of the island of Kornat. In the bay there are 3 restaurants and a small shop where you can get groceries. There are also buoys for boats. If you berth your boat on some of the restaurant docks, you will not pay an entrance fee to the park, but it is understood that you will dine at the restaurant. After the break we sail to the nearby island Lavsa 5 nm away.

Lavsa is a small island located south of the island of Kornat. On the northern side of the island you will find a safe anchorage in a beautiful bay Lavsa. The island has a small family restaurant. After afternoon swim break and rest, finish the day on the island of Ravni Žakan.

Ravni Žakan is a small island on the south of the Kornati archipelago, 3.5 nm from the island Lavsa. On the south side of the island there is a Žakan bay. In the bay is located famous tavern Žakan known for delicious seafood specialties and a pleasant ambience, and in front of the tavern is a pier with electricity and water supply.

DAY 5: From island Ravni Žakan - island Kakan - island Tijat - town of Skradin

After a night in the Žakan bay, sail out to 10 nm away island Kakan. Kakan is Dalmatian island located near the town of Šibenik, west form the island of Žirje. The island is uninhabited, except in the summer when it is visited by tourists in search of rest and relaxation. Except the anchorage in the Borovnjaci bay, also there is a dock in Tratica bay on the north side of the island with a restaurant.

Tijat is an island located south of town of Vodice, and west of the island of Prvić, 8.5 nm from the island of Kakan. The island is uninhabited, covered with underbrush and difficult cultivable. On the south side of island is bay Tijašćica, a favorite resort and anchorage for yachtsmen and is ideal for swimming and a break. After the break, continue the route to the beautiful town of Skradin.

Skradin is a small picturesque town on the right side of the river Krka, at the entrance to the Krka National Park, 18 km north of Šibenik. With its rich history dating back from Illyrian and Roman times, Skradin is one of the oldest Croatian cities. Dine at one of the many Skradin restaurants and enjoy traditional dishes under the lid, Skradin brodetto or the Skradin cake. Anchor in a beautiful ACI marina Skradin or in the restaurant Vidrovac before the bridge. Happy host Vlatko will gladly take you to Skradin with his boat, and of course bring back to the boat after the trip.

DAY 6: From town of Skradin - island Zlarin - island Vrgada - village Kukljica on the island of Ugljan

Zlarin is a small Dalmatian island located in the Šibenik archipelago, 12 nautical miles from the town of Skradin. Zlarin is surrounded by many small uninhabited islands and crystal clear sea, and is known for its beautiful beaches and coral. On Zlarin there are few restaurants and taverns where you can taste the famous Dalmatian and island specialties. After enjoying, swimming, sunbathing and rest on Zlarin, visit the 18 nm distant island of Vrgada.

Vrgada is an island located south of the island of Pašman, in the waters of the municipality of Pakoštane. The pebbly and sand beaches of the island Vrgada with thick pine forest and Mediterranean plants are suitable for a quiet vacation away from the city noise. The island has a couple of restaurants and taverns where you can find refreshment. After the break on Vrgada, follows the return to Zadar in place Kukljica, 15 nm, on the island of Ugljan.

Kukljica is a small settlement located on the far southeast of the island of Ugljan. Due to its beautiful landscape, nice and neat beaches and clear waters, Kukljica is a favorite destination for many tourists, boaters and excursionists and for families with children. You can berth in the center of place, in protected marina Kukljica. Kukljica has several taverns and cafes where you can find refreshment.

DAY 7: From village Kukljica to town of Zadar

After returning to Zadar you have time for a tour of this beautiful city in the heart of Dalmatia. Take a walk along the main street Kalelarga, visit Zadar forum with the church of St. Donat, Zadar Cathedral of St. Anastasia, and enjoy the sound of the Sea Organ and the beautiful game of light on installation Monument to the Sun. Visit some of the many Zadar restaurants and taste the traditional fish and meat dishes of the region.
