Sailing Itinerary - 7 days - Sukošan

DAY 1: From Sukošan to villages Veli Iž or Mali Iž on island of Iž

Sukošan is a town and municipality located in central Dalmatia, 13 km south of the city of Zadar, administratively belongs to Zadar County. Sukošan is situated in the large bay Zlatna luka, and is one of  leading tourist places of the Zadar County. Sukošan offers plenty of tourist facilities and city offer is further enriched with beautiful Marina Dalmacija, which Sukošan has become a real draw for boaters. Marina Dalmacija is the largest marina on the Adriatic coast with a capacity of 1,200 sea berths and 500 dry berths. With a variety of repair services, marina has shops, restaurants and charter agencies. You haven't book a boat yet for your sailing holiday? Around 17:00 pm you can sail out from the marina. Since it’ll be quite late, for the first destination on your route we suggest the villages Veli Iž or Mali Iž on island of Iž.

Iž is the island of Zadar archipelago situated between islands Ugljan and Dugi Otok. On the island of Iž, there are two settlements, Veli Iž and Mali Iž. The population of island Iž is mainly engaged in in agriculture, fishing and tourism. In the Veli Iž there are several taverns and restaurants, cafes, shop, a bakery and small marina. Mali Iž is a village situated on the southern part of the island of Iž. Mali iž provides a quiet and relaxing holiday. Southeast from Mali Iž is Vodenjak bay. In front of the bay there is a small Islet, and bay provides a safe anchorage and protection from the bora and mistral. After overnight on island Iž, in the morning head to the island Zverinac.

DAY 2: From Veli Iž or Mali Iž - island Zverinac - Pantera bay on island Dugi otok

Island Zverinac is located in the Zadar archipelago, between island Dugi Otok and the island Veli Tun. Island is adorned with dense Mediterranean vegetation and beautiful bays. On the western side of the island are situated bays Kablin and Zverinac, while on the north side is Hervatin bay. The only place on the island is Zverinac, with restaurant and shop. After island Zverinac, route continues towards to the island Molat.

On the northwest side of Dugi Otok is located a beautiful bay that looks like a lagoon, Pantera bay. Due to its attractiveness and favorable position, Pantera is one of the most popular destinations for boaters in the archipelago. In the waters of the Pantera bay lies the wreck of ship which attracts tourists and close to the bay is famous lighthouse Veli Rat and similar settlement with few restaurants and taverns. After a night in Pantera Bay, in the morning sail towards the island of Rava.

DAY 3: From Pantera bay - island Rava - village Sali on island Dugi otok

Rava is an island of Zadar archipelago, located between island of Iž and island of Dugi otok. Thanks to the mild Mediterranean climate, the island is covered with dense bush, pine forest and cultivated plants. On the island there are two villages, Mala and Vela Rava with shop and restaurant. The island has about 100 inhabitants who are mainly engaged in olive growing, viticulture, livestock and agriculture. Although is not big island, Rava has a very indented coastline with up to 15 bays. After the break in one of peaceful bays of the island Rava, afternoon set sails to the village of Sali.

Sali is the largest settlement on the island of Dugi otok and its administrative center, located on the southern part of the island near the entrance to the Nature Park Telašćica. It is known for a thousand year old fishing tradition, beautiful sacred objects and famous manifestation ''Saljske užance''. Sali has a few restaurants, caffe bars and shops. Near Sali is located Sašćica bay, known for its rocky beach with concrete terraces. In Sali there is a mooring for boats with water and electricity. After overnight on Sali, in the morning head to island Levrnaka.

DAY 4: From village Sali - island Levrnaka - Vrulje bay on island Kornat

Levrnaka is a small island in the Kornati archipelago, located 6 nm from Telašćica. On the southwest coast of the island is a beautiful sandy beach Lojena where tourists often come with boats on bathing. On the island of Levrnaka there are two small restaurants on the opposite coast of the island. After swimming and lunch on island Levrnaka, route continues to the Vrulje bay on island Kornat.

Vrulje is a village and bay on the eastern side of the island of Kornat. In the bay there are 3 restaurants and a small shop where you can get groceries. There are also buoys for boats. If you berth your boat on some of the restaurant docks, you will not pay an entrance fee to the park, but it is understood that you will dine at the restaurant. After overnight in Vrulje bay, in the morning sail towards to islands Ravni Žakan or Smokvica Vela.

DAY 5: From Vrulje bay - islands Ravni Žakan or Smokvica Vela - island Zlarin

Ravni Žakan is a small island on the south of the Kornati archipelago. On the south side of the island there is a Žakan bay. In the bay is located famous tavern Žakan known for delicious seafood specialties and a pleasant ambience, and in front of the tavern is a pier with electricity and water supply. After swimming and resting on Ravni Žakan, head to the island Piškera.

Smokvica Vela uninhabited island of Kornati archipelago, southwest of Cape Opat. On the south side of the island is located a Lojena bay. In the bay there are two taverns with moorings, Piccolo and Mare. After bathing and dining on the islands Ravni Žakan or Smokvica Vela, afternoon head to the island Zlarin.

Zlarin is a small Dalmatian island located in the Šibenik archipelago, 12 nautical miles from the town of Skradin. Zlarin is surrounded by many small uninhabited islands and crystal clear sea, and is known for its beautiful beaches and coral. On Zlarin there are few restaurants and taverns where you can taste the famous Dalmatian and island specialties. 6th day continue the route to the island Tijat.

DAY 6: From island Zlarin - island Tijat - towns of Skradin or Vodice

Tijat is an island located south of town of Vodice, and west of the island of Prvić. Tijat is uninhabited, covered with underbrush and difficult cultivable island. On the south side of island is bay Tijašćica, a favorite resort and anchorage for yachtsmen and is ideal for swimming and a break. After the break, continue the route to towns of Skradin or Vodice.

Skradin is a small picturesque town on the right side of the river Krka, at the entrance to the Krka National Park, 18 km north of Šibenik. With its rich history dating back from Illyrian and Roman times, Skradin is one of the oldest Croatian cities. Dine at one of the many Skradin restaurants and enjoy traditional dishes under the lid, Skradin brodetto or the Skradin cake. Anchor in a beautiful ACI marina Skradin or in the restaurant Vidrovac before the bridge. Happy host Vlatko will gladly take you to Skradin with his boat, and of course bring back to the boat after the trip.

Vodice is a town located north of Šibenik and south of the island of Murter, in the center of Šibenik - Knin County. Vodice have been inhabited since ancient times, as evidenced by several archaeological sites. Today, Vodice is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Adriatic, known for its wide tourist offer. Tourism is the most important industry in Vodice which lately experienced an increasing prosperity. Vodice provides a multitude of restaurants and cafes, shops, souvenir shops, post office, currency exchange and many other content. Vodice is also summer party zone with famous clubs like the Hacienda and Opium. Vodice has several beautiful beaches, such as the famous Plava plaža. A special place in the center of the town occupies ACI marina Vodice with 270 berths.

DAY 7: From Skradin or Vodice to Sukošan

Take advantage of free time and spend it visiting Sukošan. Sukošan adorns with interesting medieval churches and numerous remains of cultural - historical monuments. During summer in Sukošan held numerous cultural and traditional events that attract many tourists. Sukošan has over 10 km of coastline on which are situated beautiful beaches. In the evening, visit one of Sukošan restaurants and enjoy the traditional Dalmatian dishes.
