Split is largest Dalmatian city and the second largest city in Croatia. It’s administrative center of Split - Dalmatia County. Split is a city rich in cultural monuments and tourist attractions. In Split and its surroundings are five marinas, a large ACI marina Split, Marina Špinut, marina Zenta, marina Nava and 14 km northwest from Split, in Bay of Kaštela, lies marina Kaštela. Since it’ll be quite late, the first destination on route is the island of Brač, i.e. Bobovišća bay or Lučice bay.
Bobovišća is a small fishing village located on the west coast of island Brač, in a beautiful bay that branches into two ports, Bobovišća port and Vičja port. Bay Bobovišća attracts many sailors, and you will certainly enjoy in the delicious seafood, Roman and Byzantine archaeological sites, and extreme kindness of the locals. You can berth to the waterfront or on one of the many buoys at the entrance to the bay.
Lučice Bay is located on the southeastern side of island Brač, close to village Milna. Lučice bay is one of the most attractive bays on the Adriatic. Bay splits into five shanks that provide a good shelter from the wind. You will find accommodation in local houses, while nearby restaurants offer delicious Dalmatian specialties and a wide variety of fresh fish and safe berths on buoys or pontoons in front of the restaurants.
Biševo is a small middle Dalmatian island, located 5 km southwestern from the island Vis. Biševo is known for its beautiful sandy beaches, delicious local wines and the Blue Cave. Around noon, be sure to visit Blue Cave on the eastern side of the island and enjoy the beautiful game of light that illuminates the cave in blue. On the southwestern part of the island is a lovely sandy beach Porat which reads as one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic, and in it there is a bar and two fish restaurants. After the bathing and relaxing, head for the Stiniva bay.
Stiniva is located on the southern the island of Vis, near the village Marinje Zemlje. Because of its attractive appearance, it’s declared the most beautiful European beach for 2016. Entrance to the sea is relatively narrow (4 - 5m) due to rocky cliffs, then the bay opens and ends with a beautiful beach. In the bay there is a small bar where you can find refreshment. It is possible to anchor in bottom of the bay, but is often crowded, you can drop anchor in the next bay Mala Travna and with a dinghy visit the Stiniva.
The town of Vis is situated on the north side of the island Vis in a well-protected bay of St. Juraj. Vis is a town of rich sacral heritage and a history that dates back to ancient times. In the Vis there are a dozen restaurants and taverns where you can taste the traditional dishes such as Vis flat cake or Brodetto and try autochthonous sort of Vis wine, Vugava. Vis port is located in the most retracted southwestern part of the gulf, has about 100 berths, and is protected from the influence of the open sea. Recently are completely renovated waterfronts in Kut and Vis, which offer a safe berth, water and electricity supply, sanitary facilities and many additional contents for boaters. Safe mooring is also possible at one of the many buoys in the bay or anchoring in the bottom of the bay in front of the gas station.
Stončica is located on the northeastern side of the island of Vis, 6 km from the Vis port. Stončica is known for its beautiful sandy beach, tavern Lanterna and natural overgrown palm trees. There are also several private houses that offer accommodation. After swimming and dining in Stončica bay, we suggest you to cast off for the afternoon bathing on small islands Pržnjak Veli and Mali or Trstenik near the island of Korčula.
Pržnjak Veli is an uninhabited islet located 1.5 nm from the island of Korčula, south of Vela Luka. The islet's north side is suitable for anchoring of small boats, while the south side is exposed to the wind and is inaccessible. On the north side are ten cottages by the sea, of Robinson type, while the beach is rocky and shallow in the bay, with sand for children.
Trstenik is a small islet west of the island of Korčula. Trstenik has a pair of private fishing cottages, and beautiful beach for anchoring. The sea is shallow and suitable for children.
After bathing, move to the Zaklopatica. This is a village and bay on the north coast of the island of Lastovo. Zaklopatica is a favorite destination for boaters because of its position, restaurants with berths and beautiful nature and clear sea. Zaklopatica is also popular because of its proximity to the town of Lastovo located in inland, about a half-hour walk. In the village of Lastovo can be found souvenir shops and markets, bars and it is possible to climb on the meteorological station which offer a perfect view on the islands of Korčula, Lastovo and Lastovnjaci.
Badija is a small island located between the island of Korčula and Pelješac peninsula. The island is covered with dense pine forests and olive groves, and is known for the Franciscan monastery from the 16th century. Around the islands Badija there are several beaches and a lot of small islets that together form a very beautiful lagoon, ideal for anchoring and swimming.
Two miles away from island Badija is town of Korčula. With its narrow streets, old buildings, walls and towers, Korčula is a fascinating place and deserves plenty of time spent wandering around its streets soaking up the atmosphere. Korčula is one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean and it is also the birthplace of well - known merchant traveler Marco Polo. If the ACI Marina Korčula is full, you can anchor in the next bay and walk across the headland or in the nearby marina Lumbarda.
Lovište is a village on the far western part of Pelješac peninsula, situated in one of the most beautiful bays on the peninsula. Lovište is famous for its beautiful beaches that are carved in the small coves. Lovište is an attractive destination for many sailors who come with boats and yachts during the summer, and in the village there are several restaurants.
Kneža is a village and bay on the north side of the island of Korčula and is one of the best preserved places on the island. The village is located in a bay that is protected from winds that often blow in the Pelješac Channel. In the bay Kneža there are several sandy beaches, tavern and a lot of houses available for rent. From recreational activities Kneža offers you biking, walking and sunbathing by the crystal clear sea.
Šćedro is a small island located along the south coast of the island Hvar. Because of its pristine and pure nature, Šćedro is protected as Nature Park. The bays of Šćedro are known as anchorages and safe harbors from old times. Besides beautiful beaches and bays, Šćedro has a several small restaurants whose owners are mainly from the nearby town of Zavala on the island of Hvar.
Sveta Nedjelja is a village on the southern part of the island Hvar. It is located below the highest peak of the island - St. Nikola, under which thrive best quality Hvar wines. In the Sveta Nedjelja is a beach with a cave on the Petaršćica bay, and in the vicinity there are numerous sandy beaches and hidden bays. The village has several restaurants and shops. After bathing be sure to visit the famous winery Plenković and wine – cellars located below the sea level, renowned manufacturer of autochthonous sort Plavac Mali and taste this superb wine that is known around the world.
Hvar is a city on the western part of the island of Hvar, whose is the largest settlement. Hvar is a town of rich history and culture and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Croatia.
