Pula is beautiful town located in the south of the peninsula Istria. It is a relatively large town (60,000 inhabitants), which it owns to its great location, and has the right to be considered a tourist center. It is located in a well indented, protected and deep bay, which has given Pula the important role of being a good port providing secure anchorage. Pula’s harbor was considered one of the most secure natural ports in the World.
The main attraction is definitely the famous Roman amphitheater Arena, the fifth largest in the world and the place where, in season, concerts, performances and film festivals are held.
Pula is another Istrian town with over 3000 years long history. In its long history Pula had two periods of splendor: the Roman Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy period. Many personalities were inspired by Pula's architectural artworks.
